The design concept for the new proposed Technology Development Centre features the use of building materials that convey the look and feel of a futuristic, high-tech research and development facility. Perforated metal is used as part of the feature wall, adding texture and depth in an otherwise plain surface. There is an abundant usage of mirror acrylic finishes rendering the space with high-gloss and reflective effect.

The majority of the walls and fixtures are proposed in white to provide the small area with an illusion of bigger and wider space. White is also a colour that is neutral and can blend with other colours easily and not clash with any of the future displays.
